People like Mr. Hubbell seem to forget the meaning of terms like "Public
Lands."  Or how about "National Forests," "Federal Lands" is another good
one.  Perhaps I'm mistaken but this country was founded on the premise that
the power of the "government" was to be in the hands of the people.  That
is, that we the people are the Federal Government and the lands are ours.
The bureaucrats mistakenly believe that they make the rules!  (Just as an
aside, the vast majority of archeological discoveries of the last two
centuries were made by or funded by "amateurs," not archeologists.)
