I can understand the position that Groundspeak can find itself in, but this
is the reason why there has been so much discussion on this list lately
about having things done specifically for Arizona.
Many people seemed confused as to why I posted that Team My Blue Heaven no
longer hides caches. The only exception was a virtual I recently posted to
sort of test the system.
The fact that a set of guidelines has to exist that will make EVERY land
manager in EVERY state happy, is what I see as the downfall of this game.
I have mentioned it here before, we took about a year off when we simply
could not afford to play this silly little game, and I am shocked at the
way that things have changed since we have returned. Not only in the
draconian changes in the posting guidelines (some might disagree with me on
this) but in the attitudes of many of the cachers as well.
I really do wonder how long this game, in it's present form, will
last. When will it simply become "not fun" any longer and people will move
on to some of the "rougue" sites out there?
