Why not email Jeremy at Geocaching.com and ask him if they can donate 1000
of the brochures to you. I have not seen this brochures you speak of.... but
I am guessing they are official brochures from geocaching.com? After all,
you are going to be out there promoting his site and... it is a 'for profit'
website!
As far as costs of brochures go... they are not cheap. I have what is called
'2 color' brochures for my company and I get like 10,000 of them for
something like $400 or more. I think '4 color' (which is full color) can
cost like $800 on up and easily go over $1000. Also, these prices are for a
rack card... which is a 120# stock rack card with the glossy look front and
back. If you want the tri-fold brochure... which is thinner paper... I think
you can get them a bit cheaper. Again though, 4 color is very expensive. I
cant remember prices exactly.... but these are close. I havent had brochures
made in a couple of years now. Of course, you don't need nearly that many...
so maybe it wouldnt cost that much.
Here, try this site out. I have never used them and dont know how their
prices compare... but you can play around with it and it gives instant
quotes. You can figure out what kind of brochure you need and it will tell
you what it costs to make them.
