Im late joining this email flurry today, but here goes....
Im Gale and Im a cacheholic. Team name is Tsegi Mike and Desert Viking. Tsegi in reference to Mike's Navajo origins, and viking a reference to my Norwegian roots, as well as meaning explorer, not plunderer. Husband and wife team, along with the little geodoglet. At this time we are somewhat stuck at home, while we sort out getting a new vehicle. My truck is terminal and daily makes an ever increasingly loud rattle. Our trips are limited at this time. We have been caching since Aug 2002. We hope to get to know the new people at the Halloween Event cache, or on the trail, once I get the new truck.
Our caching preferences are urban micros. We would love to do the rural ones, but with old injuries, and an illness last year, my ability to walk is severely reduced. My ability to even sit in a vehicle and drive is much reduced too. Sometimes we enjoy just a simple hunt, sometimes we enjoy the thrill of a tough hunt. We enjoy clever whimsical caches, and scenic areas. Dumpy trashy areas ...we pass on those.
Most memorable find? Roadrunners Revenge Net Serve is one, when I finally found it after so many trips. The few first to finds we have are memorable. Some of the late night raids when we met other cachers. The cache where I walked into the desert in 113 degree heat, right after a root canal....oh yea, that was memorable lol. It was a big mistake, and I knew that if I bent over to pick up the cache, I would keel over from being sick after the dental work. I had to walk away and come back another day. A favorite caching adventure? Hmm, one of mine is walking through the Joshua Trees going after one of Panda's caches near wickenburg. Then there was Lonesome Bush and the cool benchmarks there.

Tsegi Mike and Desert Viking
Till a voice, as bad as Conscience, rang interminable changes
On one everlasting Whisper day and night repeated -- so:
"Something hidden. Go and find it. Go and look behind the Ranges --
"Something lost behind the Ranges. Lost and waiting for you. Go!"
Rudyard Kipling , The Explorer 1898
