I doo presentations from time to time, and aim for roughly one slide per
minute on average. Also I force myself to talk slower than normal.

Don't be too concerned, unless you are a frequent public speaker. I have
been having students do in-class presentations for 25 years or so now, and
one thing I have learned is that people talk faster when they are nervous.
My students may prepare a nice, 10 minute Powerpoint talk, and then, in
front of the class, they run through it in 7 minutes. Just try to be really
nervous, and the time should be fine.

Speaking of presentations...
I'm giving a speech in my public speeking class on geocaching on Friday.
I've got a 5 minute time limit... and I've got 7 minutes worth of talking as
the speech sits now. I'll be working this week on cutting it back, but
there's so much to talk about.
