Brian (A.I.),
Thank you for stepping forward in my defense in your earlier note that yo=
u posted here. I too am a bit confused as to why "Red Ryder" included me=
in his/her accusation/assumption about how I'd respond if someone were t=
o post an "archive" note for a cache. As far as I can recall I've never =
had any communication, nor heard of Red Ryder before yesterday. At this =
point I'm not going to let this matter rent any more space in my head.
As per your, "Ok, that was weird," comment below: I too have been baffled=
at times when I post something to the "listserv" and am getting response=
s to my post before I even get a return of my own post. Sometimes as muc=
h as five or six hours will go by before I get my own message returned to=
me. I've always blamed my ISP (MSN) for being slow in delivering my e-m=
ail to me.
Rand (RandMan)

Ok, that was weird. I wondered if that made it to the listserv or not, b=
ecause it wasn't sent back to me.

I think I was lumped in there on the basis of my email, for Ive no recoll=
ection of any interaction. I do recall the original incidents. They were =
discussed on the listserv at the time.

Also, I'm not sure why you lumped Gale and RandMan in that bunch. It soun=
ds like you had a falling out with Gale (yes, it ends in le, not il), =20

Anyway-- on the basis of all this (i.e., an unfortunate mistake on my par=
t, followed more or less immediately by a retraction), Gail [is it "Gail"=
or "Gale"? automatically discounts the well considered opinion I offered=
to an open question.
So, dear lad- let this be a lesson to you: don't ever, EVER suggest that =
a cache should be archived, or else Gail and RandMan and Gay Aldrich will=
be displeased with you. =20
