I see a difference of opinion here..
Yes it did get done, how long after it went missing?
Now if it disappeared or got damaged tomorrow, how long would it take to
replace?
I do not believe this was done to spite anyone even though the cache owner
accuses the admin of this in open public forum. Again, difference of
opinion, it could well have been done via email to the geocaching.com
address and done with admins on levels that the caching community would not
have known. If you want to bring this up as an attack, then keep in mind
this same cacher made at least a few caches I know of with no log sheet.
When told the caches needed log sheets they logged into the site and said it
had one and should not have been touched by admins. I had done one of the
caches that had no logsheet and the owner put a log there but in his
statement online he said it already had one.. So why would this person have
to make a statement that was incorrect to this nature?
I think this is between 360 and the admins. I dont see how admin did
anything wrong, but then again, I seem to agree with the minority that we
have a good approver who does everything they can to make this a good game
and to keep things as close to the letter if not the spirit of the rules as
possible.
Then again, maybe I am rambling and CO Admin is out to destroy geocaching as
others from the Phoenix area have said.

The maintanence was done, and it got archived anyway.
from the log:
"Thanks to Team 360 sending it to me, a new mini-cache "Altoids"
container with log sheet has been placed at the Tribute Plaque. I hope this
one lasts longer. "

I dont think it was too harsh at all. I have found many a great headstone
or historical location that I wanted to make a virtual because I knew I
could not drive there in a reasonable time to replace a logbook. Many
cachers created a boatload of virtuals and after the sign has been missing
for months they still dont do anything for the cache because it is _only a
virtual_ and they have no intention of checking it.
I personally found a virtual the other day and had the owner tell me my
answer was wrong. I quoted the plaque and they went to look at it and low
and behold I was correct and the cache owner was incorrect.. Is this and
issue? Depends..
If the cache owner lived 200 miles away, I doubt they would have diven to
the site and confirmed my answer..
Virtuals have a great place, but as I have been told by admins and agree,
if you cannot maintain a logbook in the area, you most likely cannot
maintain a virtual there either.
If the cache owner would have done the maint that they said they would,
the cache would not have been archived..
The cache can be reactivated when and if the problem with the log is
corrected.
if the cache owner does not care enough, then it should be archived. I
have requested many caches to be archived when they go 6 months with nofinds
and no attempt to fix them.
