[Az-Geocaching] Who Woulda Thunk It?

Before long, Beartooth Highway will close for winter due to snow. I'm sure
Joe has seen them, but they have these bamboo poles about 12-15' tall that
line the road through the area. It's to ensure that the snowplows know
where the road ends and the mountain begins. Parts of it you can drive
through, and literally have 10' walls of snow on either side of you, and
it's eerie.

There's a cacher who is visiting his family and helping with a move,
spending 1-2 months in Cut Bank. He has several new caches in the area if
you want to check them out. I believe it's evergreenhiker, one who is
fairly active on the gc.com forums.

Don't worry about me not seeing wildlife. As soon as my friggin' lift gets
here and installed, I'll be planning some road trips to go trail riding west
of Columbus. A local Jeeper said there's some decent technicals in the
area, and I'm anxious to explore the countryside. That should give me a
chance to see more than the deer/antelope that live in the local parks. I
would love to see eagles fishing for salmon. They're such a majestic bird,
and the opportunity to see some actually living their lives would be
amazing. It's one thing to see them nesting, but an entirely different
thing when they are in predatory mode. I'll be sure to take plenty of
fall/winter pictures.
