They may be blocking you in a similar way to what Slashdot does if you try
accessing it too often.  I have seen people have thier IP banned from
Slashdot for screen scraping off the site to get the articles onto their
PDA.  Geocaching.com may have a similar setup in the new code.

probably, they are blocking are specific IP address for the server...
unless they implemented some kind of automatic script that monitors
access from certain ip and then shuts it down if there is to much
traffic load coming from it maybe....
