Scott,
Remember when I first got my Vista, and I had to come over to upload the =
firmware because I had the same problem? It's your data cable. One of =
the wires inside probably broke free from the contact, rendering it =
inoperable. There is a eBay user I have purchased from in the past, and =
her eBay store is full of nifty after-market Garmin products. One of =
which is a PC data cable, which can be had for as little as $6.95+($4 or =
so for shipping). Not a bad deal, and mine is about as well built as =
they come.
Check out these links. If you do any eBay at all, you could score one =
of these and have it shipped to you in Seattle.

P.S. My master plan has worked!!! With you out of the scene for a few =
months, I can finally proceed with my furious attack on the azgeocaching =
scene. What's 380 caches by October? :D
