Brian,
You had mentioned that you heard ricocheting. Were the individuals shoot=
ing up toward you? What did they say they were shooting at? I was impre=
ssed to read that the MCSO got there in five minutes! =20
As I noted yesterday, my trips out there have been pretty calm. The most=
unusual thing that I found out there was finding a stolen car. I found =
it stripped and driven off the embankment at the area you, Jake and I had=
parked while looking for "Looney Tunes." I called it in to the MCSO and=
they told me it had been stolen from Mesa two days earlier. I gave them=
the coordinates and they told me they would have "Search and Rescue" che=
ck it out.

The entrance I was entering on this day was the Usery Pass entrance. Fro=
m the trailhead, the shooters were tucked in a little ravine about .25-.2=
7 miles in from the road. From the cache itself, I was about 450ft.
